Addie and I enjoyed a "mommy day" at the Nutcracker, with friends last Sunday! The girls had a ball getting dressed up and watching a wonderful, Christmas show together! They even got an autograph from a "princess" at the end! This is definately the first memory to be recorded in my Christmas album this year!

Just Got It!
Ok, so this is NOT just your ordinary magazine basket! Oh no.....Thirty-One folks use this basket to organize their cleaning supplies! You can remove the bar at the top (the handle) and put a roll of paper towels on it, and then put cleaning supplies in the basket! I just got mine today and I am in love. Need one for a gift this Christmas? Let me know. They are only $30 and so useful!

Alaska down South!
We have had a great time having Aunt "Natty", Uncle Steven, Emma, Davis, and Song back in SC for the holidays! We spent this morning at the zoo, while Carlie was celebrating her last preschool day before Thanksgiving holidays. Fun, fun!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Hello December!
I wish I could claim this cute blog title, but I'm stealing it from my oooohhhhhhh soooooo talented friend! I just bought this ADORABLE, ready to complete, scrapbook for our December memories! She's about to ship it as we speak! It's a mini album, ready for a few stickers, notes, and pics! Leigh was a college friend and sorority sister and she ON IT when it comes to creativity! She may be working on a baby boy book for me too.....I mean, I may need another one in LESS than 6 weeks! Check out her new Etsy page too! This is her first listing and I think it's the perfect way to start! By the way, speaking of baby boy, here is a sneek peak at his precious, little room waiting on him! The clock is ticking.....

This n' That
It's been a while since I posted about life in general, so here it goes:
I guess we should start with this sweet, little newborn who will make his appearance 7 weeks from today and we are a little crazy around here! When I say "his", does it still shock you? Brad and I can't wrap our brains around having a little boy! Joy, joy, JOY!!!
Carlie has been in rare form lately. She's 20 months old and has more spunk than I ever expected. She's in the throws of wanting her independence, yet wanting to be held most of the day. She's a mama and daddy's girl. She wants us both, but I must say...she LOVES her daddy! She loves to snack, laugh, read, and sit in laps. She can fuss with the best of them and wear those lungs out! She's her own little person, and we love her more than words can express.
We've hit the discipline pretty hard this week and standing firm on making sure we're correcting properly. It's no fun when these blue eyes look up with you with tears, but we know it's His way....the right way. Oh, she wore her first ponytail today. Ahhhhh, I could eat her up.
Is it really this dark when daddy gets home, now? I miss playing outside in the evenings, but nothing has changed when it comes to daddy coming home. The door is wide open and the girls are chomping at the bit to get their hugs (I am too!!)!
(yes, Addie is wearing Cinderella heels and fairy wings...it's her daily attire)
When am I going to learn to "just say no" when asked, "Mommy, can we get balloons today?"
We played this game and fought this fight MANY times today.
In my "WORK" news, let's just say I've taken on quite a job! I have several Thirty-One parties coming up, and many Christmas orders to get delivered. Last night, my dear friend Jenny and I, set up a table at our holiday Sip N' Shop and had a blast! Here is our table, FULL of Thirty-One goodies. Gosh, I love this company!
Here are some of my cutie-pie friends! We had lots of vendors and lots of fun!
I'll end this little post, with a pic of the girls pretending they are working at Snip-It's. It was a great week. We are thankful that the girls are healthy and happy, and we look foward to a fabulous weekend. Have a good one, everyone!

Fall
Poor Addie has been fighting a very painful ear infection this week. She's been quite a trooper though! As a result, we had to miss a friends' birthday party today. So, to perk everyone up, we enjoyed some time outside playing in the Fall leaves! The girls loved the rakes and had the best time jumping in the leaves! I do love this time of year!
“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you."
