A Little Kick?

I just felt Baby P for the first time!! I felt 3 little flutters in my tummy about 30 minutes after eating a pepperoni pizza with the "hot spice" on top! Addie used to love sweets, but this baby loves spicy! I start week #19 tommorrow, so I felt this baby much earlier than Addie (guess I knew what to look for this time!). I'm so excited!!

Orange and Pink in October!

Addie and the girls had a great time in the park this week- what a wonderful Fall day! We also participated in the First Ladies' Walk for Life this morning. We walked to support cancer, and of course I walked in honor of mom. The walk raised $350,000 this year! YAY!

Fun, Fall Days!

Fall is so much fun! Addie is walking, talking, and loving this weather as much as we are! Enjoy pics from the zoo with Hope and Lilly Anna, time outside, and my belly at 16 1/2 weeks pregnant!

Krispy Kreme, but NO Doughnuts!

This week, we found out, in a very tough way, that Addie is allergic to peanuts. We would have never dreamed that she'd be allergic to nuts, as neither myself nor Brad have this food allergy! So.....until her Allergist appointment in October, she is to have NOTHING containing peanuts, peanut oil..etc. As luck would have it, the manager at Krispy Kreme tells us that their doughnuts contain peanut oil, so her "first doughnut" never happened :(( Instead, they were kind enough to give her a free mini ice cream that she loved!! Fingers crossed, one day she can experience a "Hot and Now" from KK! The other picture is of Addie last Sunday before church. We were saying our blessing before breakfast, and she has learned to fold her hands and say "Amen"! It's adorable! On another note, this past week, I had my 16 week appointment for the new baby. We had a hearbeat of 153bpm......we are still in awe that Addie will have a new sibling in just several short months!

The Lexington FunFest

Addie, Brad, and I spent this weekend checking out the festivals in town! Friday night, we went to the Greek Festival, which is one of my FAVORITES! The food was wonderful and Addie loved the music! I hate that I forgot to bring the camera- Addie clapped the whole time! Saturday morning, we went to the FunFest parade and then to the actual festival. Let's just say this photo says it all! HA! I think we are all "fested out"!

Walking!!

It's been a while since my last post with pictures. Since Addie's first birthday, many steps have been taken! Yes, our little girl is walking! She started walking shortly after her birthday...lots of falls, but she is trying so hard! Here are some pictures of her walking, more of the birthday...etc. We gave her a kitchen for her birthday and she loved it! Also, our sweet friend Kaitlyn celebrated her birthday the week after Addie with a Barnyard Bash! Unfortunately, Addie had a cold and didn't make it to the party, but I did and it was wonderful! Enjoy!

I love Fall!

I just love the Fall season! So, I had to change the background to add a little "pumpkin" color to our month! New pictures are coming very soon, we have been very busy over the last few weeks!!
