This year's Thanksgiving consisted of the youngest in our family (one baby who will be born in less than 4 months and Addie, almost 15 months old) and the oldest, Mimi at 95 1/2 years (with Millie, not too far behind at 13 years old). What more could we ask for, around our dinner table this year! After our visit in Laurens, we went to see Brad's family...the kids had a great time playing! You can see in the last picture, we had one tired girl by the end of the day! Oh, mom and I both cooked this year. I made a sweet potato souffle, and you can see our "nut free" corner for Addie! We are so, so blessed.
Addie is quite the helper these days! She'll drop any book or any toy to "help" mommy! It's so cute...maybe she senses that mommy needs more help as I get bigger! Here are some pics of us dusting, cooking, clipping coupons, and cleaning out the pantry. There is also a pic of me this week, at 24 weeks!
That's right! Hard to believe, that 4 months from today I am due with another sweet baby!! We are so excited and the days are going by VERY fast right now! We bought Addie a book today to begin talking to her about our new addition!
We had a wonderful time playing outside of the state house today- it was a beautiful day! Thanks Renee for the great idea! There are also some pics from a cold afternoon in Addie's "car" and me 22 weeks pregnant!
Here we are...a simple family of five! Our children (Addie, Carlie, and Gabriel)are 18 and 22 months apart and keep us on our toes every minute! By no means, are we even close to perfect, but we strive to please our perfect Lord whose blessings are new every day. Enjoy taking a peek into our lives, for our cups runneth over.
