Before I had children, I said I would never put a "leash" on them. After I had children, I changed my mind very quickly! We will do anything to keep our girls safe, but still feel independent. What a cutie with her puppy on her back!
Today is our 3 year anniversary! I am truly married to an angel of a man.....a wonderfully devoted and loyal husband, friend, and father. No doubt, Brad is my very best friend. Some may say we are still in the "newlywed phase". I don't know....maybe. Regardless of what phase it is, I hope it never ends. Thank you B, for these beautiful children and for the wonderful life you provide for us daily. I love you!
I'm not a fan of fast food. We didn't grow up eating it, and I don't want our girls eating too much of it either. But, sometimes you need an "outing" and a treat! Today, I was at home for only the 2nd time with both girls by myself. I packed them both up and took Miss Addie through the drive through for her first happy meal. The "prize" inside was stickers- how perfect! Amazing what a little cheeseburger, some stickers, and a car ride can do for your spirits! :))
Here is a glimpse into our house right now: Lots of playing, lots of "sisterly love" (gentle please...gentle!!), lots of sandwiches that my sweet husband is making, and some wonderful friends who are visiting and bringing big sis gifts! Pretty good week so far!
What an amazingly patient and loving big sis Addie is becoming! This morning when we woke up, she kissed Carlie on the head several times and was so gentle. She is such a sweet big sister...they are going to be so close!
Here we are...a simple family of five! Our children (Addie, Carlie, and Gabriel)are 18 and 22 months apart and keep us on our toes every minute! By no means, are we even close to perfect, but we strive to please our perfect Lord whose blessings are new every day. Enjoy taking a peek into our lives, for our cups runneth over.
