8 Months and Daddy!

We had a very special day today! I took the girls to visit daddy at work this morning...they are SO wonderful there and love to see Ad's and Carlie! Carlie is 8 months old today- she's scooting all over the floor, trying to copy sounds that we make, saying "mama", and smiles all the time. She's a joy!

A MUST HAVE!!

This picture cracked us up, because I was trying to get a "cute" picture of Carlie in her bathtub and she was MUCH more interested in keeping her toy, than posing for a pic! I love how she's looking at daddy! Anyway, this blog is for my my friends who read Life with Perks and have very young children who are starting to sit, but not ready to be in the tub without support. I must tell you that I HIGHLY suggest this bathtub, by AquaBaby. (Here it is, at BB& B: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=15003227) In fact, it's a MUST. We bought this at Buy Buy Baby (they have blue for boys, no worries!) and it has made daddy's bathtime so much easier!! There are suction cups on the bottom for safety and toys attached to the top. Anyway, by far the best bathtub we've ever used~ I wish we had known about this with Addie! Ok, there ya go....free advice!

....is flying by! Where did our newborn go? Almost 8 months old and keeping us on our toes!

Edventure with Daddy!

Daddy took the morning off today, to vote and take the girls to Edventure! We had a blast and finished the morning off with lunch at Chick-fil-a!

Trick or Treat!

Halloween was SO much fun for Addie this year! Age 2 is a great age for Halloween! Kaitlyn came to our neighborhood to trick or treat and they were quite a pair! I think sweet Carlie was surprised to be up so late....our little cat and pumpkin fairy were out like two lights when we got home! We had a great time!
