Sunday at the Pool

Today, we played in Kaitlyn's pool! Addie loved the water, and the girl's were so cute in their matching floats!

Another Week Already?

I don't know where the time goes when you have a child, but days and weeks seem to fly over here! Addie will be 9 months on Tuesday, and I can't believe it. She's 'crawling' (yes...still the army crawl- this may go on forever...ha!), sipping from a straw, eating bits and pieces of food, pulling up, laughing at our funny faces, clapping hands, imitating us,.....the list goes on and on. When we had her, I remember people saying, time and time again, "you just wait, 6 months to a year old, is incredible"- well, they were RIGHT! What an awesome time! This week, we went with friends to "Rhythm and Blooms" at the zoo, one evening- I think Addie really liked the music! Here are some pics throughout the week. Enjoy!

Memorial Day and Crawling? Well....Army Crawling ,To Be Honest!

Happy Memorial Day (week now, I guess!). We had a great day~our family went to the Riverwalk Park, near the Gervais Street Bridge. We took a good walk and then stopped for snacks. Addie ate small pieces of avocado! We have determined that Addie, a.k.a. "Mikey" (from the Life cereal commercial - 'give it to Mikey...he'll eat anything') really will, eat anything! I hope she keeps this up! Later, we went to a cookout with some friends who live in our neighborhood. Their son Caleb, is Addie's boyfriend, or at least we like to think maybe he will be, one day! As for the crawling- the child is MOVIN'! She's been scooting around here and there for a while, but it wasn't until today that she kicked it up a notch! All this being said, she still isn't getting that tummy up! I have a sneaky suspicion that once she figures out that last detail, my life will never be the same!! Addie's legs have been moving since very early on- Mimi always comments on those legs going and going. These pictures were taken tonight before bed, as she cleared the floor in her nursery, going back and forth!

Family Fun

Today was so much fun....two sewing stores with Natalie while Addie napped, then the park with the crew! Addie had a blast with her cousins and has clapped those hands all day! We're looking foward to getting together when they get back from traveling!

Where Did This Week Go?!

This week has flown, but I think it's because it's been NON-STOP! After our trip to Laurens, we spent the rest of the week at the Little Gym, the Farmer's Market, and heading to the park today! Addie graduated from her "Bugs" Little Gym class, and will move to "Birds" this Summer! This year is flying by- she'll be 9 months old soon, and I really don't know where the time has gone. Brad and I watched as our baby recieved her 'gold' medal from the LG, and remembered her first class where we handled her like a fragile egg. Now, she's doing the army crawl, eating small pieces of food, rolling over, standing up with help, and clapping her hands! It really is amazing to watch a baby grow! Speaking of growing, we took a trip to the Farmer's Market yesterday and got lots of fresh, local produce. We'll just say, Addie is eatin' good in the neighborhood these day!! Oh, and thank you for the dress Aunt Stef, we think she looks pretty cute!

A Visit From Alaska!

We had the best day yesterday with Aunt Natty, Uncle Steven, and Cousins Davis and Emma! Cousin Davis was VERY entertaining and Addie was loving every minute of it! After a 40 day, cross country drive, the Halls are finally here and we are thrilled. We have a beach trip planned in June, and lots of swimming and visiting through the summer. Here are some pics of our visit.....What's in Addie's bowl? Carrots puree'ed with apple juice and cinnamon! My child has a sweet tooth! I'm also posting pictures of Addie eating yogurt for the first time and she's started with a little bit of table food (cheese and fruit). Oh, and I caught her turning her aquarium on, by herself yesterday, so I had to snap a pic!
