NO Thank You!

We celebrated Carlie's FIRST birthday party on Saturday. Pictures of the festivities are coming very soon!! But, before all the pictures are posted, I had to post these two of Carlie's first and second experience with cake and icing. In my mind, she was going to LOVE it. We were going to have to tear it away from her as she grabbed the last bite with all of her might. Ummm, not the case. She didn't take a SINGLE BITE. Not one. She didn't like the icing on her hands, in her mouth,

or anywhere near her. So......

 .....we tried again when we got home, later that day. We thought for sure she was just tired at lunch and would love her first cupcake. Besides, her smash cake was big and intimidating....right? (camera ready to take THE picture of her first cupcake!!) Wrong. We got another big ole' NO THANK YOU on the cake! Too funny...a precious memory that we will laugh about for years!
